Stopped here on a Sunday morning to grab some take-backs for the boys in the form of cannoli and back and white cookies. There was a wait in front of me and two pretty rude non-allied customers who thought they were more important than the next: one a housewife who obviously had nowhere to be but convinces herself she's busy; the other a yielding woman who was commiserating with the first woman talking badly on the bakery in front of the staff. Anyway - usual bakery look with cases and some seating to eat. Staff is friendly, I ordered a couple cannoli and some black and white cookies and headed out. The lady who helped me ended up giving me a free cookie along with my pastry box. Would recommend.
They made a dragon-themed cake for my daughter's 8th birthday that was the centerpiece of the party buffet table. It looked great, and was so moist. I will be using this bakery for my next party.
Absolutely Excellent new Italian bakery. So much so I had to add on Yelp. Please see Google reviews. I come to the hair dresser next door and I am always amazed by the absolute freshness of the pastries and cookies. My kids ask for them all the time. The folks working the front are respectful and personable. Again- Butter and Rainbow cookies to die for!! DO NOT go into the Bronx for your Italian cookie fix any longer. This Absolutely beats my Mount Vernon bakeries I've frequented by my house for years. Gonna have to try a cake soon. And...IT is Super Clean inside as well!
